JFK was a president born 1917, at Massachusetts, and he was democratic candidate for the 1947 election for U.S. House of Representatives and worked his way up a political ladder, going to United States Senator in 1953 and then President in 1961. He had done several things during his period before presidency, such as Civil Rights and Education Funding, but I wish to focus on his brief presidency.
He came into play during the height of the Cold War, and then quickly began working on it, especially when the Cuban missile crises came out, where his greatest triumph was being able to stare
down the USSR. He started up the Apollo program, putting up the first man on the moon in 1968. He also initiated the first Atom Bomb. He was also stepping up to the US involvement in Vietnam. He was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald in 1963, who two days before trial was killed by Jack Ruby.
He also struggled with health problems, was unfaithful in marriage, and more, but in his Presidency he was seen as the idol president. He rates as the 4th most popular president today! He was a president in his prime. I liked him.
