Hey guys, it's Adventure Van here with a blog about firefighting robots! Wei's Technology is a company based in Australia that build several different types of robots, from underwater ones, to lawnmowers, to officially supplementing firefighters with robots that can use hoses, get into dangerous situations, and are both fire and blast proof, which are all things that firefighters themselves aren't.
As someone who is interested in robots, I researched their online site, and it's actually quite easy to use and get around. Not like that has anything to do with the information, but it's something most websites don't have. But the information is easily accessible and doesn't beat around the bush, and the info actually is great! It was very easy to access, and that's why I just devoted an entire paragraph of this blog to it.
Anyway, the actual robots are well designed, optimal, and useful. I only saw a couple of design flaws, like the fact that the firefighting robot wasn't well designed for steep stairs, but they're doing a great job on both the designs and final product. I'm honestly impressed by some of the minor ingenuity they placed into these robots that would probably be looked over by the average person.
