BPSS
Hey guys, it's Adventure Van here with a blog about Buffalo Philharmonic Symphony Scholars. It's a free program to those who are currently underneath or in a senior grade class. The rehearsal was quite impressive and eyeopening. As much as the music was as impressive as always, seeing how the conductors were capable of pinpointing the musicians having difficulties or being out of tune with the score and able to quickly helping fix the problem. The break in the middle with some of the musicians was also a great learning experience for how the musicians view the scores, seeing how it's a very stressful and repetitive yet rewarding system of learning musical scores. I also learned a few niche bits of information, like how Germanic music is easier to play then French, and how musicians are often much more interested in the food being served then the visitors are.
