Soldier crabs

Soldier crabs are basically what there name is. They, unlike other crabs, can move:

                                   This little warrior may be shy to us, but not seagulls!

          They usually come out by the hundreds during night and early morning, at spring and fall,              they burrow holes to live in for the up coming seasons. More than half the colony does it. 
          The rest? If a seagull comes, those claws come into some action. Before the seagull can
          snatch one working, a watching one pinched it on the leg. These are my favorite crabs.
