Cow Eye Dissection.

Yup. I. Dissected. A. Cow. Eye. And. A. Grasshopper. And. It. Was....
AWESOME. Really Cool. I got to look at the retina, cornea, pupil, lens. and iris. Cows can only move their eyes up and down, side to side. And not in combination. However, they can see in the dark, to watch out for predators. Then we did a Grasshopper, which had two set of wings, but one of which worked. The other was for protecting the working ones, the hind wings. The protectors were fore wings. I got to look at the air sack, and the inside of the head, thorax and abdomen. They also have a compound and simple eye!

Yup, dissecting is really cool. I'll be blogging about a mouse next time I do! Adios!
