I have recently been working on a solar car at the Science Museum in Buffalo, NY. We have been using hot glue guns, foam, and wood to iron out plans and skeletons for our cars. We also use cloth, paper clips, saws, and laser cutters to make extensive details. We can use 3D printing, rulers, and screwdrivers to get every last detail right. We have split up into separate teams, but the race is going to be with two other schools. We have lots of awards, so your car doesn't have to 'move' as long as it looks good. We have the entire lab to our disposal.
I have made a car named project pumpkin pi. I have a simple gear system, golf balls, foam, and wood to make it the best possible. I am currently working on making the solar panel being able to move in all directions. I have also been working on a blueprint to make sure I'm getting it done right. I am also working on making the car work. :P Hope you wish me luck!
