Hey guys, it's Adventure Van here with a blog about the X3 Ion-Based Thruster. This thruster is an attempt to make traveling to Mars a more viable option, and it should do so spectacularly. The X3 has a ratio to normal chemical propulsion rockets at a 40:5 ratio, or at 8 times the speed of an average chemical thruster. It also does this using less fuel per day, allowing more room for other essential supplies. It uses electricity as the fuel, meaning the fuel itself takes up less room, as well as being able to be hooked up with solar panels and man powered energy to keep running. All in all, it's the next step in getting people into space, and making it a much more effective practice.
That's Adventure Van, blasting off.
