Hey guys, it's Adventure Van here with a blog about the book Ancient Egyptian Women. You probably know about Cleopatra, as she's one of the most famous of them, largely due to Shakespeare's play and because of learning the actual language. But there have always been women, important or not. And in ancient Egypt, women were actually more equal then a large amount of other ancient civilizations, with equal rights to property and inheritance, and being able to get into high positions. There was even a Pharaoh that was female, even though she wore a fake beard most of the time to cement herself among others.
