Heya, this is Adventure Van with a blog about Virtual Reality, an awesome way of gaming and learning. Going from Google Cardboard to Oculus Rift, it's not just a trending craze. The main type of VR that most people experience is using there smartphone with a cardboard folder piece that lets you look around. However, some more epic things involve awesome head sets with controllers to let you pick up and use stuff.
However, the stuff possible in the games are the funnest part. From accidentally jump scaring yourself with dinosaurs cause you didn't know you could do that, to double handing two alien ray blasters to shoot gnomes that dodge every attempt, to teleporting into an enemy with a stick to knock it out, it's always fun to just mess around!
The reason I'm talking about VR is because of VR Buffalo, a local group who is trying to bring up enthusiasm for VR to become a learning tool. Please go check them out, and I'll talk to you in the next post!
