Coding: The Sites

Hey guys, it's Adventure Van here with a list of EPIC supplies to code with.

Kodu:
Kodu was featured in a previous blog post, which you can find here.

CodeCombat:
CodeCombat is an awesome site that teaches you how to code by having you code the game WHILE YOU'RE PLAYING IT. It's great for kids 5-14, as it's got great graphics, is simple, and teaches enough to make it have something you probably didn't know already.

Youth Digital:
Youth Digital is the only paid for site on this list, but it's worth it. With classes from graphic design to coding Minecraft servers to coding entire new games to making animations, it's got almost everything that you'd want a class about. It's all ages, (well, maybe not 1-5) but it's got great help support and funny and learned classes.

Scratch:
Scratch is for the 1-5 group that's been excluded from the past two. With simple, drag and drop programming, it's still possible to do pretty complex things with it!  It's good for customization, and gives an idea of what actual coding and positioning is like.

That's adventure van, signing out.
