Hey guys! Adventure Van here with a report on Going Postal, a book by Terry Pratchett. A continuation of the famous Discworld series, this is one of the more popular stand alone installments. It features lovely writing and world-building as well as stellar characterization. It follows Moist Von Lipvig across his trials to forlornly reopen the Post Office, as well as multiple other compelling subplots. It both delves into the ideas of how human psychology works. It's a gripping fictional story that I enjoy both reading and listening too on a regular basis. It also changes a lot of common tropes on their head, up to the "final confrontation" being done completely in character and therefore not happening at all. It's a truly amazing book that anyone should read, especially since despite being in a series it's a very good read on it's own.
