How to Combine GAMING and REAL LIFE to create SOLUTIONS.

Hey guys, it's Adventure Van here with some tools to help you organize your life and have a bit of fun while doing it. If you're like me, someone with medium issues procrastinating and getting your life together, then check out the first paragraph. If you've got a large problem ranging from addiction to anything, mental problems, and physical ones, check out the second paragraph. I hope that using these tools will help make your life easier to manage!

Habitica, or Habit RPG, is a great RPG styled system, with fun graphics and easy to use system and quest adding. It allows you to create a character, add quests or do their quest packs, gain new items and armor, take damage from not doing daily or weekly ones, and lets you chat with others and trade items in the player area. You can also freeze the quests and damage, go on streaks, or otherwise motivate yourself to get stuff done. Plus, it's fun to just gaze in awe at your character.

For those who have important problems, or those who want results over graphics, check out Superbetter. You can also create your own quests, power ups, and bad guys, but it's a bit more serious over all then Habitica. You can use one of the pre-made quest packs to help you with any ptoblem from stress to friends to help get over concussion injuries. If your problem is hard to deal with, I can't help but recommend using Superbetter to help you get the tools you need.

Sharklet Technology: Science from Nature.

Hey guys, it's Adventure Van here with yet another blog post. this about an amazing technology called Sharklet. It's an awesome company that started off with making shark based scale clothing and coverings that stopped bacteria from growing on it. They expanded to make other things based on sharks, like wound dressings to heal wounds faster and a tape version of their clothing. They're used a a bunch of clean rooms to help keep door handles, knobs, table corners, and other things from becoming bacteria hotspots.

If you're interested in Sharklet Tech, you can check them out here.

Arab American Family Support Center: A support group for incoming immigants.

Hey guys, it's Adventure Van here with a blog post about the AAFSC, a group for transferring Arabs to American communities. It's a medium sized community of people, who each help teach and give exams to help culture the people who've come here. Despite anti-Muslim threats and harassment, they're still going strong with their efforts to help people become American citizens. It's an awesome group, with plenty of help and resources.

They currently are fighting with how to change for the Trump Administration's repeated rhetoric against Muslims and Arabs.  However, plenty of volunteers help teach English, Civics, History and American terms and institutions. They give free help to those who need it and give exams after they've completed the lesson. Those who complete it are usually much more in tune with how America works, even if it's slightly against them currently.

Camping helps sleep? *Q.P.*

If you have problems sleeping, here's a hint: Sleep outside! From a study by the University of Colorado Boulder, the findings of which show that melatolin. which is used to make us sleepy and awake but is changed by the effects of screens, is restored by the wilderness. They sent five volunteers on a six day camping trip without ANY ELECTRONICS. The campers slept longer, their melatonin levels began to rise more then 2(1/2) hours earlier then before. A second group was sent and spit, one stayed home and the others went camping. Sleeping was more efficient in the camping group then for the homestayers.

The Encyclopedia of Dinosaurs: Book Report

Hey guy's, it's Adventure Van here with a blog post about DINOSAURS! (yayyyy) Well, it's not about dinosaurs, but the Encyclopedia of Dinosaurs (And other prehistoric creatures) is a very concise book with all of the separate periods of time from the first creatures to come from the ocean to the destruction of the dinosaurs. With 8 sectors worth of information and 110+ chapters, there isn't a lot left out of this book. While it's clear and easy to read, it has plenty of info that may interest even the most uninterested in the subject. If you know someone who loves learning about dinosaurs, I'd recommend to check it out, which you can do here.
