Hey guys it's Adventure Van here with a blog about Zombies. But not zombies. I'm talking about the trope in movies and books when people to put zombies into a story that they're redoing, or even original content, when they are giving no actual plot related danger. This is not saying that all zombies are completely unnecessary. In most cases, zombies are essential to the plots of many zombie based novels, and people have been able to successfully work in zombies into other people's works. However, I am simply in annoyance towards the novels that do not use zombies in an effective way towards the plot. Thinking of zombies as a natural disaster, the idea of having non-properly worked in tornadoes would be stupid. Why do so many tolerate it with zombies?
Adventure Van, wondering if they should've made this post in October?

Castle by Candlelight
Hey guys, it's Adventure Van here with a blog about Old Fort Niagara and the Castle by Candlelight event. I went with some friends to a nighttime exhibition of reenactment of the fort from soldiers and chefs to priests and war-chiefs, along with live music, stories, and "feu de joie" (firing of joy)s! The entire event was also lit up almost entirely by candlelight (surprisingly), and was a really well done event. Except for some minor inconveniences parking, it was an entirely enjoyable experience.

Superheroes Soundtrack!
Hey guys, it's Adventure Van here with a blog about the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra's Superheroes Soundtrack! This was a fun event in which a live orchestra played several themes from both recent movies and far back heroes, from the Dark Knight to the Ride of the Valkyries. This was a fun time, packed with great music, fun jokes, and a guest appearance from Jessica Alba, the invisible woman! It was a good two hour long performance of well done music, and I'm extremely glad I went to see it being done live.

Sive
Hey guys, Adventure Van here with a blog about Sive. This was a play done by the Irish Classical Theater Company, a local organization that puts on classical Irish plays. I went to it in order to see the play Sive, a play that was actively banned in Ireland 20 years ago due to the realistic portrayal of how Ireland treated women in the past (it is however unbanned now). The play was like a better version of Romeo and Juliet, in the way that everyone was working for the best interests of someone, instead of it being a mess, yet it still had a very sad, emotional ending. It was a great play, although I'd recommend emotional preparedness if you want to watch it.

Lockport Caves
Hey guys, it's Adventure Van here with a blog about the Lockport Cave System. I went on a tour supplied by the people at Lockport Cave and Underground Boat Ride, which was Halloween themed. The tour talked about the history of the locks, including why the city was made in the first place, and all the cool ways that people died in making things there! From getting having a fire break out at a fire hydrant factory, to a Romeo and Juliet situation gone horribly wrong, there are a ton of fun deaths involving the river and cave system there. I'd recommend checking out the site, as well as the tour itself if you're around it at the time.
