Pros and Cons of: Home movies, Drive Ins, and theaters.

Hey! This is going to be a list of Pro and Cons about where you can watch movies. The three things are going to be Home Movies, Drive Ins, and Theaters. I'm going to do a list about what I think about these things. So, here is the start:

Lets start with the biggest problem: Other People's Noise. Now, Movie Theaters draw a complete blank here, as they are by far the most noise making of the three, barely  letting you hear the movie. But what are you saying? "Surely Drive Ins make more noise, being cars and all." Well, here is a clincher: The cars are turned off for the movie, I doubt you can turn off a wailing three year old, and if someone is talking, the speakers are IN YOUR CAR. Oh, and Home Movies eliminate this problem completely. And, at a Drive In and Home, you are allowed to talk.  So, here is my conclusion of this paragraph: Home Movies: 1st, Drive Ins: 2nd, and Theaters: 3rd.

Then, lets go with Choice in Movies. Again, Movies are last, with one screen. I have seen drive ins with four screens, so you have more choice there. And, if you have a large DVD selection or Netflix, then you have all your favorites! What more would you want? And, you can have as many features as you want at home, and Drive Ins have double if not triple features. Movie double features are so rare that you need a microscope. So, here is my conclusion of this paragraph: Home Movies: 1st, Drive Ins: 2nd, and Theaters: 3rd.

And then, Pets. How often can you bring dog/cat/bird/rodent/reptile/alien/pet to the theater? Once again, Movie Theaters draw a blank, as when you're home, you can watch with any one or thing. Drive Ins have rules about as long as your pet doesn't make noise, it can come in. So, once again, here is my conclusion of this paragraph: Home Movies: 1st, Drive Ins: 2nd, and Theaters: 3rd.

Also, Food Choices. I know for a fact you get soda and candy and way to buttery popcorn at the theater. Ever seen hotdogs, pizza, and onion rings? At the drive in, you can get than and much more. While a home movie lets you have total choice, it's easier to order it. Conclusion Time:  Drive Ins: 1st, Home Movies: 2nd, and Theaters: 3rd.

And Comfort. You like being kicked, having the armrests hogged, and having cushions that are made of wood? Good, cause that's what you will get at the theater! Meanwhile, in your car, you will have your regular, made to your desire, chair. And at home? Your choice of seating! Now here we go with the conclusion: Home Movies: 1st, Drive Ins: 2nd, and Theaters: 3rd.

Now, here are the overall stats:  Home Movies: 1st, Drive Ins: 2nd, and Theaters: 3rd. Hope you keep this list in mind!

Science Q.P.

This here blog is going to be about the bicycle dynamo! It's not very complex, and it uses magnets! It is a pole between two magnets, south and north, has a wire wrapped around a backwards C shape pole, and is connected on the edge with a screw to your bicycle, or whatever you are using. The pole rotates, creating a small magnetic field. This field is then attracted to the pole, which then turns it into electricity! The wires take it out to wherever it needs to go.

And that's your science for the day! Seeya!

CLOWNS!

And how they roll! Anyway, I am writing a report on clowns because I want to. There are lots of different types, but here are four:
  • A White Face's performance is highly artistic and skillful, but done with a comedic or dramatic flair. Known to use a lot of makeup. They wear white. AND ONLY WHITE!They are also the usually 'ringmaster' of the clowns
  • Tramp: Dresses in rags, uses minimum amount of makeup. He usually has a great attitude, and is very happy. Or. he can be the opposite.
  • Harlequin.Has a lot of diamonds. On everything. This is the most medieval like. He is very suave about what he does .
  • Aguste. The second in command. He takes the comedy from the white faces, but only them. He is the one who gives throws the pie, not the one who gets hit by it, but in the clown world, anything can happen.
And that's that. hope ye enjoyed.

Skeletons.

A group of homeschooling kids and I learned about Skeletons at the Buffalo Zoo on the 12th of January, and I went to learn about animals by looking at bones and animals. Skeletons are extremely cool, and useful in our life, and if it wasn't for them, I couldn't be writing this. I especially need them for swinging my feet right now. And speaking of feet, did you know we once had opposable thumbs on our feet? When we took to walking, the toes bumped into rocks and such. So we got rid of them for the place of nice, arrow like feet! And, with feet in the head, (don't ask), I can tell you that a full grown giraffe has the power to kick a lion hard enough to snap its spinal cord. They also have tiny horns to ram stuff with. Road runners have very small and soft bones, so they are as light as can be.

I had a awesome time! It was great. Adios!

Planetarium!

A group of homeschooling kids and I went to a planetarium at a high school on the 16th of January so we could learn about stars by watching an artificial sky. We learned that the Mayans (and their calender) and a overwhelming large amount of ancient Mexican Indians had wonder and curiosity of the stars. They planted, had religions, buildings, artifacts, and more that point out that they needed the stars. They knew that the "morning" and "evening" star was the same one, that they revolved around the sun, and that they looked in the water to see the stars.

I learned a lot, and it was all cool. Thanks, and adios!
